What to do if 5UF VPN cannot connect
If you cannot connect to 5UF VPN for the moment, do not panic. We recommend using the latest 5UF VPN app first. Old clients and old protocols are only kept for compatibility.
Suggested troubleshooting order:
- Confirm that your account is active and has not reached a limit or temporary restriction.
- Switch network and try again, for example between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Try another server in case one route is temporarily unstable.
- Completely close the app and open it again. Restart the device if needed.
- Make sure your system time and time zone are correct.
If you are using Super VPN or an old protocol:
- Make sure you are entering the correct password type.
- If a password prompt appears again after selecting a server, you usually need the compatibility password.
- Old protocols such as PPTP, L2TP, or SSTP are no longer our recommended solution.
If the Windows app cannot start or does not respond:
Clear the local cache first and then start the app again.
If the issue still remains, contact support and provide:
- Device model and system version
- Whether you are using the latest app, Super VPN, or an old client
- Error message or screenshot
- The time when the issue happened
